Rooted in faith. Devoted to service. United by the motto "Love For All, Hatred For None."
Our Identity
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community
The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community (AMC) is a worldwide Islamic organization with over tens of millions of members across more than 200 nations. Founded in 1889 in the Punjab region of India, the AMC is unique among Muslim denominations for its belief that the long-awaited Messiah has come.
We believe that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad (1835–1908) was sent by God as the Promised Messiah and Mahdi, to revive and reform Islam from within — not to bring a new religion, but to restore the true, peaceful, and rational Islam as taught by the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ.
Our community in Monroe, WA operates Bait-ul-Ehsan Mosque— "House of Excellence" — serving Muslims and the broader Seattle metropolitan area with daily congregational prayers, Friday Jumu'ah, community services, and interfaith outreach.

What We Believe
Core Beliefs & Values
Ahmadi Muslims uphold the six articles of Islamic faith. Our community adds the conviction that the Promised Messiah has appeared to champion peace, reason, and justice.
The Holy Quran
We believe the Holy Quran is the final and complete word of God, perfectly preserved and applicable for all time.
Prophet Muhammad (pbuh)
We affirm that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the Seal of the Prophets — the last law-bearing prophet — and follow his Sunnah.
Ahmadiyya Belief
We believe that Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian (1835–1908) was the Promised Messiah and Mahdi foretold in Islamic scripture.
Khilafat
We are united under the leadership of Khalifatul Masih V, His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad, who guides our global community.
Service to Humanity
We believe faith without action is incomplete. Our Humanity First charity operates in 50+ countries providing disaster relief and development.
Separation of Mosque & State
We firmly believe religion and politics must remain separate. We do not support political Islam and advocate for loyalty to one's country.
1920
Since
The Oldest Muslim Organization in the United States
On February 15, 1920, Mufti Muhammad Sadiq — an Ahmadiyya Muslim missionary — arrived in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He established the first Ahmadiyya Muslim mission in America and published The Moslem Sunrise, the first Islamic periodical in the United States. This makes the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community the oldest continuously operating Muslim organization in America, with over a century of presence on American soil.
Our Guiding Principle
“Love For All, Hatred For None”
This is not merely a slogan — it is the lived practice of our community. We believe every human being is created equal in the sight of God, and that our faith demands we serve all of humanity regardless of race, religion, or background.
The Promised Messiah
Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad
Born in 1835 in Qadian, Punjab (India), Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad spent his life in deep study of the Holy Quran and Islamic thought. In 1889, he founded the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, claiming to be the Promised Messiah and Imam Mahdi foretold in Islamic, Christian, and other religious traditions.
He wrote over 80 books and thousands of letters defending Islam through reason and evidence, challenging the idea that Islam could be spread by the sword. His message was one of peace, love, and intellectual engagement with the world.
He passed away in 1908, leaving behind a community and a Khilafat institution that has guided Ahmadi Muslims worldwide ever since.

Common Questions
About the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community
Are Ahmadis Muslim?
Yes. Ahmadi Muslims affirm the Shahada, observe the five pillars of Islam, believe in the Quran as the final word of God, and follow Prophet Muhammad ﷺ as the Seal of the Prophets. The Ahmadiyya position is that the Promised Messiah foretold in Islamic tradition has appeared — but this is an internal theological difference within Islam, not a separate religion.
What does 'Ahmadiyya' mean?
Ahmadiyya refers to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community, named after its founder Hazrat Mirza Ghulam Ahmad of Qadian. He claimed to be the Promised Messiah (Masih) and Mahdi foretold in Islamic, Christian, and other traditions, sent to revive and defend Islam in the modern age.
Is the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community the oldest Muslim organization in America?
Yes. The Ahmadiyya Muslim Community established its first American mission on February 15, 1920, when Mufti Muhammad Sadiq arrived in Philadelphia. He published The Moslem Sunrise — the first Islamic journal in the United States — making the AMC the oldest continuously operating Muslim organization in America.
Who is Khalifatul Masih and what does Khilafat mean?
Khilafat (Caliphate) is the institution of spiritual leadership in the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. The Khalifa (Caliph) is the elected successor to the Promised Messiah who provides guidance to the global community. His Holiness Mirza Masroor Ahmad is the current Khalifatul Masih V (Fifth Caliph), elected in 2003, residing in London.
What is 'Love For All, Hatred For None'?
'Love For All, Hatred For None' is the motto of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community. It encapsulates the community's belief that Islam calls for universal brotherhood, service to humanity, and compassion toward all people — regardless of faith, race, or nationality.
Does the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community face persecution?
Yes. In Pakistan, a 1984 ordinance criminalized Ahmadis from calling themselves Muslims or practicing Islamic rites publicly. Ahmadis face persecution in several Muslim-majority countries. Despite this, the community maintains its stance of loyalty to the country of residence, non-violence, and engagement through dialogue.
