1. Who we are

islaminseattle.com is operated by the Ahmadiyya Muslim Community Seattle, associated with Bait-ul-Ehsan Mosque at 23515 Old Owen Road, Monroe, WA 98272. Privacy questions may be sent to support@islaminseattle.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information that you choose to provide through contact and visit forms, including your name, contact details, and message.

For the Summer 2026 Challenge, we collect:

  • A parent, guardian, or household email used to send one-time sign-in codes
  • Member name, optional community display name, auxiliary, challenge progress, profile privacy choice, and account timestamps
  • Murrabi Sahib approval status, approval time, and certificate verification ID
  • Hashed technical identifiers used briefly to prevent abusive sign-in attempts

The community wall always shows collective progress. Signed-out visitors receive anonymous auxiliary labels. Signed-in Challenge participants see a community display name only when the household explicitly chooses to share it; otherwise, the profile remains anonymous. Full registered names remain limited to the verified household, its certificate, and the protected Murrabi Sahib panel. Email addresses and internal profile IDs are never published.

3. Children and family accounts

The Challenge is intended to be used by children through a parent, guardian, or household account. A child under 13 should not create or manage an account independently. Parents and guardians may request access, correction, or deletion of a child's profile at any time. We do not use Challenge data for advertising or behavioral profiling.

4. How we use information

  • To respond to inquiries and arrange requested visits
  • To authenticate a household and save Challenge progress
  • To let Murrabi Sahib review completions, issue certificates, and prepare the authorized community report
  • To protect the service from abuse and diagnose reliability problems

We do not sell or rent personal information and do not share it for third-party marketing.

5. Service providers and storage

We use Vercel to host the website, Neon to store Challenge account and progress records, and Resend to deliver sign-in codes and transactional email. These providers process data only to operate the service. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS. Administrative access requires a separate protected session and may require an authenticator code.

6. Cookies and analytics

The Challenge uses secure, HttpOnly cookies to keep household and administrator sessions signed in. These cookies are not readable by site scripts and are not used for advertising. Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights may collect limited device and performance information to measure site reliability. You may block optional analytics through browser controls, but blocking required session cookies will prevent Challenge sign-in.

7. Retention and deletion

Challenge account, progress, and certificate records are retained through December 31, 2026 so the program can be completed and verified. After that date, records will be deleted or anonymized unless a longer period is required for an authorized community record or legal obligation. One-time sign-in codes expire after 10 minutes. Contact correspondence is kept only as long as needed to respond.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to access, correct, make private, or delete information associated with your household. Contact support@islaminseattle.com. We may verify the request through the household email before changing or deleting records.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the program or its service providers change. The date at the top identifies the latest version.
