The mosque is open for all five daily prayers every day. Visitors are welcome to observe prayers at any time.

Friday Jumu'ah (congregational prayer) is the most important weekly event at the mosque. The Imam delivers a Khutbah (sermon) in English, followed by two units of prayer. Visitors of any background are welcome to attend and observe.

Greeters are available every Friday to welcome new visitors, answer questions, and guide you through your first experience.

What to Know

Modest Dress

Modest, comfortable clothing is appreciated for all visitors. Women typically cover their hair in the prayer hall — scarves are available if needed.

Remove Shoes

Shoes are removed before entering the prayer hall. Socks are perfectly fine. Shoe racks are provided at the entrance.

Parking

Free accessible parking is available on site off Old Owen Rd. The entrance to the mosque and parking area is clearly signed.

Arrive Early

For Friday Jumu'ah, try to arrive by 1:15 PM for the first adhān. The Khutbah (sermon) begins at 1:30 PM promptly.

Full Visitor Checklist

  • Modest, comfortable clothing (no requirement to dress in Muslim fashion)
  • Shoes off at the prayer hall entrance — socks are fine
  • Scarves available at the entrance for women who wish to cover
  • Men and women have separate but equal prayer spaces
  • Photography inside the prayer hall requires permission
  • Mobile phones on silent inside the prayer hall
  • Children are welcome — please supervise young children during prayers
  • No food or drink inside the prayer hall (water is fine)

We offer guided tours of Bait-ul-Ehsan Mosque for individuals, school groups, church groups, and anyone who wants to learn more about Islam and the Ahmadiyya community. Tours include a Q&A session with a community member.
